The Me Project: Stepping out of comfort

Daily we are presented with opportunities from the universe to grow in so many ways. We don’t always get the “hint” or see the pathway to success, especially if it is out of the norm, not our “usual”. We have to sometimes ask ourselves if the desire for what we want is stronger than the fear of how we get there. So many of us let the fear be our default button, staying in the norm. Always wanting that change, but fear stops us at the threshold. We are such creatures of habit, easily sticking with what is familiar and putting ourselves on the sidelines.

If you really want something in life, you either have the energy, swirling of courage or you have the retraction of cowardness. Which are you? Do you have the courage to take that step towards an area of unknown? Is it going in a direction of something that you really want? If you really want it you have to step out of your comfort zone and muster up courage from the core that is within. Take a step in the direction of what you desire. If there’s something out there that you want: really want, but the fear of changing and getting out of your comfort zone, circulates a huge sense of fear; it ends up creating a feeling of cowardness. Almost paralyzing you, not able to or too afraid to make the changes to commit to the hard work necessary to get to where you want to go. Are you the Courage stepping out of the comfort zone or the cowardness retracting in the shadows? When opportunity presents itself, do not ignore it. Have the courage to push the fear aside, take that deep breath and believe in yourself!! DO IT!!!
