Melissa has had the opportunity to be featured in several podcasts. She was so inspired by hearing other women’s stories, that she began a local TV show, called, “Empowering Entrepreneurs,” featuring local women in business and/or women who created community organizations.
Melissa lives in a very supportive community, and truly believes in empowering and inspiring other women, through her story and the story of others.

Bramer is author of “How Connie Got Her Rack Back,” Founder & President of Get Your Rack Back Inc., a not for profit organization, and is a Finance & Insurance Consultant in the automotive industry.
Bramer grew up on the Sacandaga Lake, NY and has been residing in Clifton Park, NY for the past 17 years. She has two teenagers, Alyssa, 16 and Alex 15, and a rambunctious yellow lab named Callie. Bramer is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. She grew up in the car business as her parents owned several new car franchises over the course of their 40 years in the business.
After graduating from college, Bramer began working in the family business; maintaining positions in every facet of the dealership. Over the course of her 24 years in the automotive industry, Bramer has spent many years on the retail side of the business, as an automotive lender for a large bank and several years as a national trainer for a financial services provider in the industry. That experience coupled with finance and management training, led Bramer to a career as an F&I Consultant to automotive retailers.
She is also a breast cancer survivor who chronicled her journey in her memoir, “How Connie Got Her Rack Back;” a bold “in your face” look at cancer with a comical twist. In 2012, Bramer began raising money for non-profits providing services to cancer patients before starting her own foundation, Get Your Rack Back (GYRB for short) in March 2015. Collectively, GYRB events have raised over $150,000 to provide assistance for cancer patients and cancer research; some funds donated to other not for profits, such as the American Cancer Society.
Since 2015, funds raised by GYRB provide meal delivery, grocery, gas and restaurant gift cards as well as physician/hospital co-pay assistance to cancer patients in Upstate NY.
Bramer’s mission is for GYRB to assist one patient, one family at a time. She believes that everyone has the ability to make a difference in the lives of others.

In 2013, she founded Girls Dreaming Big, a tutoring and coaching company for teenage girls, which has impacted thousands of teen girls in the St. Louis area.
